It’s easy to track any mobile location using mobile number, if you are comfortable with Linux. A simple process with not more than 7 lines of code can detect the location of mobile.

Start with Tracking or Smishing Attack

The requirement for this process is only the installation of Linux in the system. The process as follows:

  • Use the tool  TrackUrl to track the location, it can be downloaded from GitHub using following code.

  • After writing the last code, a TrackUrl window will prompt.  It will take a while to give an URL. Copy that URL and paste it at another window opened at the same time.

  • Now, it’s time for Social Engineering Attack. Send the URL to target mobile number, using email or through SMS. it is important to cover the URL by writing attractive message with it, so that the victim click the link easily without any suspicion.
  • Wait, Until the target click the link. When the target will click the link, the Coordinate of the mobile number will be shown on the command prompt. From that, the location of number can be traced using Google Maps.
